Ao todo, McCartney possui 1.254 canções e 3.175 gravações cadastradas no Escritório Central de Arrecadação e Distribuição (Ecad), que divulgou no aniversário do artista uma lista com as músicas do cantor mais famosas no Brasil.

Segundo o levantamento, nos últimos cinco anos mais de 75% dos rendimentos de direitos autorais de execução pública musical de McCartney foram provenientes dos segmentos de shows, rádio e televisão.

A música "Yesterday" foi a mais gravada por outros artistas no Brasil, seguida por "Eleanor Rigby”, “Let it be”, “Hey Jude” e “Lucy in the sky with diamonds”.

Já a música mais tocada no país é "Day tripper”, com o resto da lista contendo “Come together”, “Hey Jude”, “Help” e “Yesterday”.
